How hard it is to say “Bye”!!

Life is all about meeting people and saying bye to them. Life is all about making friends and loosing friends. Life is all about meeting and departing. This is the simple truth that we don’t want to accept. It is not that we don’t want to accept it but it’s really hard to accept this harsh truth.

It was a recent incident which made me think in this way. We had a UK education fair last weekend through the British council and I was lucky to be in the team of organizing that. I met plenty of new friends, very nice friends during the two days that we had that fair. those two days were two of the best days that i have ever had in my life. But what I figured out during these days were that when we like something we don’t feel time passing and we feel like time is running very fast. But the truth is that because I loved every moment I spent there I didn’t feel time passing.

I was damn pissed at the end of the second day because I had to say “bye” to many of the people I loved being with. It is very hard to say bye to people we love. But however we have to say good bye to everything in this life at some point too… I was saying bye to the same person over and over again because I could not leave the place. I wanted to stay at least another second with them because I enjoyed every moment.

What I understood from this is that saying “bye” to people and things we love is the most hardest thing in our lives.

I sometimes feel why our friends and and the people whom we love can’t stay together with us. But then again if we met every day. If we get to talk every day then we won’t think about them that much and we will not value the realationship that we have!!So some times its better to say bye and say we will meet soon again. Hehehe!! How ever it is damn sad and difficult to say bye to people whom we love so much. Let me pray that the “byes” i say will not be for ever.

Life!! Is it interesting??

What is life? Life is the most complicated thing in this world. It is never predictable. The only thing I know about this life is that we all have got it and that we all have to live our own lives and it’s an obligation. We can’t say “no” to our lives because it is never ending. But if we think what is life for some time we will get a nice answer!( I got, you also think and see you will get it too) What is this answer. The answer is…. answer is… “I really don’t know what life is”.

What I know about life is that it is the most complicated as well as the most precious thing in this world. We all get a life to live but it is just a few of us live it. Others survive. Even mother nature has treated us equally by giving all of us lives but it is just a few of us pay it back to mother nature and prove that it is a wise idea of her to give all of us lives.

What I mean by this is that we all do not carry out our lives in the same way. Some of us engage in good deeds and enjoy life and some of us engage in bad deeds and think that we enjoy life which is not the truth. All of us who have done bad deeds and committed crimes will have to have to suffer in life in the future. in oder for us to be happy even when we are crying we will have to do good deeds because if our lives are not pure, not sacred we will hesitate about it some day and we will be crying. But for a person whose life is pure, whose life is filled with good deeds the saddest momonet in his life will be just another thing for him to laugh about.

Life is not always the same. It changes from time to time. We all will have to face lot of tragedies and lot of happy times to face in our lives. We will have to cry and we will have to laugh from to time to time. What we should understand is that life is not always the same but it is the cries and and the laughters that keep our life going and make it interesting. Think for a moment if we keep on listening to the same song over and over again without any time lapses at the end you will start hating it. There should always be changes in in our lives and thats what make it interesting.

Some people complain that life is too short! Life is never too short! If we live the life we have got and if do productive stuff in our life time we will never regret and will never state that life is too short.

Shopping is Hectic!!

Oh god!! Shopping… The most hectic thing in this world. Going from one shop to another then from that to another at last coming home without anything at all. Hehehe… Is it funny!!1 No not at all funny. It is damn hectic!!

I some times think why don’t we get all the shops to one place mainly textile shops because its very tiring to go one place to another which is another 4 or 5 kilometers away. I some times hate my self and the whole society for not being able to walk naked on the roads(I know its not possible but…).

If i like a trouser it doesn’t has the size which suits me. If i get my size it is not the color i want. it seems shopping is like that. When we go shopping the only thing that make guys like it is just because we come across lot of (cute, beautiful and sexy) girls(Hehehe).

How ever shopping is the most hectic thing as well as the hardest thing. It is very difficult to find out whats genuine and whats fake. When i say this i feel like talking about this with relevant to our lives. This world is full of fake stuff. There is only a little genuine things.This is the same even we think about humans. There are both fake and genuine human beings. What i mean by this is that there are people who show one face to the world and it is not the real. how ever there are people who show the original look(internal) of them selves to the world.

This remind me a part of a song of John Lennon and Poul McCartney:

Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door
Who is it for?

There are lot of reason for people to show fake faces of them selves to the society.

1. They are cornered and not recognized in the society.
2. Some people are having other intentions to fulfill that what they show to world
3. Some people are having dark secrets which they cant tell to the world
4. Some are lying to whole world just to be some one who is recognized in the society.

Some of the reasons are justifiable and some are not. So its our duty to be genuine to the society and see why others are not be genuine and treat them according to the reason.

How ever going back to the hectic topic “shopping” there also we have to think about whats genuine and whats not. We have to reject the fake and accept the genuine.

So let us make shopping an interesting thing( which is hard for me than going to the sun).

My wish for all you who are reading is that the next day you go shopping let u find the trouser or the skirt of the shirt that your looking for be genuine and easy to find.

 

I am ADICTED!! Are you ADICTED too???

Being addicted to something or some one is not always good but its not always bad too. If your addicted to reading you will keep on reading this but if your addicted for sleeping I am sure you should be sleeping now.

What do you mean by “ADDICTED”?

Being addicted means being very keen on some thing and liking it soooooooo….. much. This “soooooo…. much” do not have an end(Don’t try to find where it is!! Because you will have to run “sooooo….much!!”). So what is this addicting mean in its literal sense. It means liking something without an ending and being difficult to get rid of that.

We all are addicted to many things. I remember my brother saying that if your a software Engineer or a person handling computers you will see him in a messenger most of the time. This is what addicted means. When we go in one direction we keep on going in that direction without any change if there are no external forces(Isn’t it newtons first law?, but don’t mix this is not physics). So as I mentioned before people who are handling computers be in the messenger most of the time because they are addicted to it. Like wise people can be addicted to many things. Something I am addicted to is sending texts. That is something I do most of the time. People get addicted to music(pop, rock and all sorts of music), television, computer games, studies(this is obviously good).

But there is a bad side of this as well. People get addicted to Smoking, drinking liquor and taking drugs. These are harmful addictions. Some people lose lives due to these addictions. Some people get disfigured and ugly due to some addictions.What we don’t understand is that there is always both good and bad side of anything. We have to be able to select whats right and wrong.

This why it is bad:

Another side of Addiction is that some people get addicted to different cultures. This is something we see a lot at the present. Mainly in the elderly societies in the world we see this sorts of addictions why I say so is because they are never willing to accept anything in the present world. They always compare the old days and modern days and blame the present generation.

As people we should be flexible we should have the capability to understand and thats why we have been gifted by a very precious organ called the BRAIN(I don’t know whether you have it or not!Hehehe!! But I have!!). This doesn’t mean that we have to accept all the wrong doings of the present generation but this means that we have to think twice before we come to a conclusion(You can even try it thrice…).

So addiction is some thing which is good at times and bad at times. Its up to us to respect the people around us and understand them and judge what we are doing while considering their comments.

We should not always try to go in one direction because that won’t do any help for you to explore new things in this world. Think of this.. You start a journey and you go in one direction what you find will be the sea(an end) but if you want to live in the land you should take bends and should not go in one direction. Like wise if you get addicted to something and keep on doing that thing you want get a chance to enjoy the best part of this life. You will be blindly going in a path which you think is the ultimate bliss.

So let us make changes in our lives and get the maximum use of what we are addicted to and enjoy life without harping only on one thing. Make your life worth living!!

One Mans’ terrorist is Another Mans’ freedom fighter!!

This is one of the topics that I have debated on when I started debating for the first time for my school team. I was given the challenge of being the opposition. Why I say it was a challenge is because every one has been thinking that this statement is correct. But I personally believed that this statement was wrong there for I took the challenge happily with the intention of proving the world that one mans terrorist is never another mans freedom fighter.

I think people have been believing on this statement because there has been no definition given to these words “terrorists and Freedom fighters” in any dictionary.

So let us see who is a terrorist first!!

Terrorists are selfish power hungry people. They say that they represent a community, a race, a discriminated group of people but those words are used to prove that they are doing this for some reason which can be justified. Terrorists are people who go from one place to the other killing innocent civilians who are not even armed. Terrorists are ones who want to dictate this world. They are extremists!!

Now let us see who is a freedom fighter!!

Freedom fighter is a person who represents a community, a person who stand against the injustice against the relevant authorities. Freedom fighters are ones who sacrifice themselves to save the lives of thousands. They are never selfish.

So let me justify my case!!

• Terrorists kill unarmed innocent civilians in large number but Freedom fighters fight against the relevant authorities who violated their rights.

In the present world we see lot of terrorist groups. They kill lot of people around the world for no reason. I would like to bright about the example of 9-11 attacks. Hundreds of people died just because Osama Bin Landan was not ready to accept the rule of American government. Hundred of Sons were lost to their mothers and fathers, Hundreds of Fathers and mothers were lost to their children. Isn’t this injustice? If Osama Binladen is a Freedom fighter why does he violate the rights of thousands of other people? Osama Binladan is just a power hungry inhuman creature.

Freedom fighters never massacre innocent unarmed people. Anything they do is just to the authorities who are responsible. In my own country last month the terrorists blasted off two buses and if this is called a action of a freedom fighters its a grave error we make in our lives.

• Terrorists are never willing to negotiate or compromise but freedom fighters are!!

What we have experienced is that the terrorists have a firm request and they never want to compromise on these. But the difference in freedom fighters is that they are willing to compromise and are willing to accept a reasonable answer.

• Freedom fighters protect the resources and heritages of a country but Terrorists never care about them.
  

Freedom fighters are people who love their country and who will do anything to keep their country safe. But terrorists are never like that. We see the terrorists groups in Sudan going on destroying all the resources in the country and we have heard about many occasions where terrorist groups have destroyed many of the world as well as national heritages of countries. One simple example is the destroying of Barmyan Buddha Statues.

• Child Conscription is never done in Freedom fighting but is done in terrorism.

Children are said to be sacred by the society, the protection given to them is unlimited and the care is tremendous. Freedom fighter is some one who protects all that, a person who provide protection to children all the time they never conscript children for their activities but a common thing that we see in terrorists is that they conscript children to their forces and for the acts done to gain power.

So are these just causes. If we call terrorists freedom fights it is a great insult we make on ” Mahathma Ghandi”, “Nelson Mandela”, “Martin Luther King Jr.” and “Sir Ponnambalam Ramanadan”.

So let me salute the Freedom fighter of My great country Sri Lanka while condemning the acts of terrorism.

Why I love you!!

Should there be a reason for any one to love another person?? I don’t think so. But i also believe that there should be one reason and that reason should be common to all of us. That is – “Because I love you”. Love is sacred. Love is holy and love is interesting(Is it??hehehe)

For many now a days love is not that interesting because they have many reasons for why they love their lovers. Some say because he or she is sexy and thats the reason why they love them , some says their lovers are smart and thats why they love them. But why I love my lover is just “because i lover her”.

Some people might say thats a frank answer, an answer to just run away from the question but what i believe is that if we cannot define what love is we better not tell why we love. But what I am sure is that i don’t love a person for their looks, for their smartness and other external factor( I do look in to them to a extent!! hehehe) i love a person for their internal nature, their kindness, caring behaviors and their understanding ability.

I am a person who believe in love at first sight but i also believe that love is just a short term one but IF you want it to be long term(big if for you who is thinking weather to continue or not) just make sure you understand the other, make sure you love for her qualities than her looks. I am not telling you to love the ugliest women or man on earth but what I want to reveal is that even the ugliest can have the most beautifully heart.

So why do I love you?? I love you because i don’t have anyone else to love(hehehe). Actually thats not the reason its because I don’t want to love any one else other than you.

I love you so much!!(WHO?? you don’t want to know)

How important is a best friend!!

Best friend are the most painful people in this world. They are the worst ever people you will find(Just kidding if you all are reading this my best friends). Best friend is a person whom you can share your tears with. HE is a person whom you can share what you really feel. HE is a person with whom you can dance in any way you can even your the worst ever dancer.

So in short and sweet best friends are ones who honestly love us. What i believe in is that if we love any body or if some one is going to be your lover make sure she or he is your best friend. Because best friends are the most precious and valuable ones after our parents.

A best friend will never leave you alone when your in dark(I am afraid in darkness). What i meat from darkness in this context is not it’s literal meaning I meant if your in trouble or if your in the wrong path your true friend or your best friend will always be there for you helping you urging you to listen to what he or she say and if not he will slap you and take you to the right path(hey if your reading this don’t ever think of slapping me).

That is a best friend! A best friend will never ever laugh at you when your not there, if they want to laugh at you they will laugh at you in front of you.They will never let us go in the wrong path and later say that I told you this before.

I would not like to define who a best friend is because it will just be another insult to the concept of Friendship. Best friend is one of the greatest people in this world and the responsibilities of a best friend is even far more than the UN secretary generals’ responsibilities. As best friend we all should be honest to our best friends. We should love them from our heart and we should give him the fullest support for what ever thing they do.

So why is a best friend importantto us. There are meny reasons for a best friend to be important. For me as mentioned before they help me to get rid of my loneliness, they help me to build up my confidence because they are always there for me and it is a great strength for me. Then again best friends are important because they are the people who control our lives. If we associate bad friends we will also be bad but if we associate good friends we will be good. So I beliave that friend are a key factor in the lives of each and every one of us.

So let us be honest to these damn annoying people!! Let us love them and pay respect for them!!

How people feel when they spend a hectic day!!!

So what do you think that some one might do after spending a damn hectic day!! Some one might  drink a lot of and go home drunk or another might shout at every one around and another might stay calm and go to sleep as soon as possible. These are some of the options that a person who spent a hectic day has. How ever a person who spend such a day won’t act normal. When we are tired, when are mind is tired after hell a lot of work and when our body is aching we call it a very tiring and a hectic day but what exactly happen is when we do some thing without any interest and without any happiness we tend to hate that thing we are doing which ultimately make our body feel aching and feel tried.

Why I thought of writing this post is because even i had a very hectic day yesterday. But thing tiring day made me realize some thing which is why we feel like tiring even we didn’t engage in hard work. I was in a A/C room through out the day, I traveled in a privet vehicle, I didn’t do any hard work like lifting heavy loads and other hard work which practically make people feel tired.

So because all these reason i was tend to think why yesterday was a tiring day for me. Then i realized I didn’t do anything with happiness yesterday other than my morning session and I knew that was the reason which forced my mind to think that it was a tiring day.

So what we should take to our mind from this is that any thing we do we should do with happiness and great care.

Now let me take you to another aspect i wanted to discuss through this post it is the diverse minds of this man kind. We all think in different ways if we debate upon a similar issue. If we take the previous issue if some one else spend the day just like me there is a possibility for him to like that. So the interest that we have differ from one person to another.

There for we should understand we live in a world where diverse people exist and we have to alter our selves according to thems in some cases because if not great problems can arise if we do not understand others and live.

This concept is the most important to stop wars and all types of crimes that happen in world so let us try to cooperate and love every one and love what we do.

Religion and Race!!

This is not written to criticize any of the religions in this world because I understand the importance of each and ever religion in this world. It is precious to people who believe in it. Criticizing it will be criticizing my own thinking power. We all do things, we engage in different issues because we can justify what we are doing or telling. So believing a religion is same as that. We believe in what we think as true. We do not go behind anything blindly.

What i think is this RACE and RELIGION should never be a criteria by which we take decisions and judge people on because these are never qualifications of a person but more of a birth right.

Each and ever religion plays its role when people are in fear. That is the place where a persons religion matters to him a lot. When the person whom you get to defend is powerful than you, you remind your religion and you seek the help from it because it is the only thing which can help you spiritually!!

If you see Arnold Schwarzenegger in front of you with the gun he had in Terminator 3 I am sure that you will be scared to death and will urinate there and start shivering while yelling “OH GOD!! SAVE ME!!”.

When we are in fear we think about our region and expect salvation but what we don’t understand is that if we live according to what our religions states we won’t get a chance to think about our religions while urinating(Hehehe).

You might think as the religions are different, living according to what will bring you prosperity. My friends there is nothing like that each and every religion can be written like

X = Y = Z = Q(if u apply this in math you will fail!! So don’t)

What every religion tells about is loving every body, protecting each others rights and living a life free of crimes. Isn’t it so? Is there any religion or philosophy which says to kill people, which says to violate other people’s rights and which says to continue committing crimes? I am sure the answer is NO. IF so, if u stand by those religions that bring good to your life I am sure that u won’t have to urinate in front of Arnold Schwarzenegger or any one else.

So let us determine that we will never discriminate any one on their race and that we will never criticize another religion but will be a messenger of the concepts of our religions which are love and peace.
